Space, versatility and style. The new Citroen C3 Aircross is ready to be launched, and in the meantime the French manufacturer of the Stellantis group has unveiled the first images. The model shares with the new C3 the same styling identity created by the team led by Pierre Leclerq, the promise of space and comfort on board and the ambition to shake up the market with a very competitive price. Both models are based on the same Smart Car platform, capable, as in this case, of accommodating even seven-seat bodies.

The C3 Aircross incorporates the new elements of the Citroën design language of which the Oli concept was the manifesto and C3 the first realisation. Its very upright front proudly displays the new Citroën logo and adopts the characteristic three-segment light signature. Very modern, its styling also highlights the quality and attention to detail using the chevron motif on some elements. In addition to these graphic elements, Citroën plays with the perception of the silhouette and personalisation by breaking the vertical reading of the model through two-tone tones that detach the roof from the rest of the bodywork through a play on colour.

Powerful and robust, the C3 Aircross has become an SUV with a high, horizontal bonnet, widened wings and track, and solid shoulders that benefit from guards covering large 690 mm diameter wheels. The new C3 Aircross changes dimensions and now reaches 4.39 metres in length to provide more room on board. The balanced proportions of its silhouette suggest a very long wheelbase, the largest in its class. This offers more legroom for rear passengers. Another element made possible by the size of the C3 Aircross and which the styling reveals: the design of the side panel offers a dynamic and vertical stern, ensuring good roominess for the occupants of the third row.
