BMW Group is reorganising its design division under the leadership of Adrian van Hooydonk. The new organisation is focused on the transformation of the company: Colour and Material Design will be consolidated across all brands, while the BMW brand team will be split into two studios and the Advanced Design department will be strengthened.

Maximilian Missoni joins the BMW Group’s design team to oversee the design of the mid-upper and luxury class models as well as BMW Alpina. After holding various management positions at Volkswagen and Volvo Cars, Missoni was most recently Head of Design at Polestar.

Oliver Heilmer, previously Head of Mini Design, will be responsible for the design of all compact and mid-size BMW models as well as the BMW M.

Claudia Braun will head the Colour and Material Design department for BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Claudia Braun already runs the Colour and Material department for the BMW brand since last April, bringing with her experience from Porsche, Daimler and Volvo Cars.

Domagoj Dukec, formerly head of the BMW Design Studio, will now assume responsibility for Rolls-Royce design, including Bespoke and Coachbuild.

Anders Warming, previously responsible for Rolls-Royce design, will oversee all aspects of Advanced Design, as well as the BMW Group subsidiary Designworks.

Holger Hampf, head of design at BMW Group, will now be responsible for the design of the Mini brand, while Christian Bauer will continue to lead the digital customer experience into a new era for all brands.
