Kemal Curic, former head of Lincoln design, will take on the new role of head of design for the Ford Performance Vehicles division. Originally from Sarajevo, Curic grew up in Germany and Croatia and was fascinated by American Muscle Cars and vehicle design from an early age. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s degree in Transportation Design, Curic began his career at Ford of Europe in 2003, designing models such as the Fiesta, Mondeo and Kuga, before moving to Dearborn, USA, to work on the 2015 Mustang.

In 2013, Curic became Exterior Design Manager for the Lincoln Continental, before serving as Chief Designer for the all-new Aviator and Corsair. In 2019, he took on the role of Head of Design for Lincoln. Among his most successful cars are the China Zephyr and the Nautilus. In addition, he oversaw the development of the latest Navigator. In his new role at Ford Curic will be responsible for strengthening the styling of models such as the Mustang and Ranger Raptor.
