Thirty years of history and over seven million units sold worldwide have made Sportage Kia’s most popular model. Now the C-segment SUV returns to Europe in a completely updated guise, with the ambition to set new standards within one of the most competitive segments of the market. In fact, the new generation aims to stand out not only for the wide range of electrified engines, but above all for a design that redefines its character, making it more daring, modern and recognizable.

The “Opposites United” stylistic philosophy is the beating heart of a transformation that goes beyond restyling to create a dialogue between fluid lines and sculpted surfaces with robust and decisive volumes. The front retains the “tiger nose” shape reinterpreted in a more contemporary key, flanked by Star Map LED lighting, a distinctive feature that creates an evocative visual game especially at night. The redesigned bumpers enhance the muscularity of the silhouette, giving an impression of solidity that goes hand in hand with a more authoritative road presence. Even the wheels, offered up to 19 inches and with an exclusive design for the GT-Line version, become an integral part of the stylistic narrative, completing a look in which every detail seems designed to underline dynamism and personality.

If the exterior is striking for its expressive power, the interiors surprise with their elegance and design coherence. The dashboard develops horizontally with a minimalist design, embellished with integrated air diffusers and a new two-spoke steering wheel, a solution that reinforces the identity of the model. The materials chosen aim to combine comfort and sustainability: eco-leather and suede upholstery characterize the GT-Line, while the use of Dinamica, suede microfiber produced with a water-based process and high percentages of recycled polyester, covers seat and door inserts, creating a refined but at the same time conscious environment.

The new Sportage does not forget its practical vocation: over one meter for the legs of the rear passengers and a trunk that starts at 587 liters, reaching up to 1,776 with the seats folded down, guarantee versatility and comfort even on the longest journeys. Aesthetics thus merge with functionality, remaining faithful to the principle that design must never be a pure exercise in style, but a concrete tool to improve life on board. The technological character is reflected in the cabin with the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit system, which combines two 12.3-inch curved displays and a 10-inch head-up display. The digital experience expands with services such as Kia Connect, OTA updates and the ability to integrate new functions through Kia Upgrades, which even bring games and streaming platforms into the car. Technology is therefore no longer an accessory, but an integral part of the way the Sportage tells its story.
