“The new EX60 changes the rules of the game in terms of range, charging, and price, and represents a new beginning for Volvo and our customers.” Håkan Samuelsson, CEO of Volvo, unveiled the Swedish manufacturer’s new SUV in Stockholm, which heralds a new era in terms of design and technology. “With this car, we are removing all remaining barriers to the transition to electric. This new entry is also a testament to what we are capable of, as demonstrated by the new product architecture that integrates cutting-edge technologies: mega casting, cell-to-body, and core computing.”

From a stylistic point of view, the EX60 further develops the carmaker’s Scandinavian criteria, projecting them into the electric era. It combines elegant, bold, and efficient exteriors with interiors made from high-quality natural materials, offering occupants a quiet, refined, and versatile space, enriched with smart storage solutions. The lowered front end, sloping roofline, and tapered sides optimize overall aerodynamic efficiency. As a result, the EX60 cuts through the air with a highly effective drag coefficient of 0.26, helping to ensure class-leading range.

The interior of the EX60 is a model of versatility and practicality. The long wheelbase and flat floor provide significantly more legroom for rear seat passengers, as well as a large luggage compartment and numerous smart storage compartments for personal items. The EX60 is also a smart choice for music lovers, thanks to its high-quality Bowers & Wilkins audio system with 28 speakers. For the first time in a Volvo, this system also includes speakers integrated into the headrests of all four front seats. The EX60 will be the first Volvo with Apple Music pre-installed and Dolby Atmos, for an immersive 3D listening experience thanks to Spatial Audio technology.
