At next month’s Geneva Motor Show we are going to see the world premiere of Carmen, a luxurious 100% electric Gran Turismo by Hispano Suiza, the iconic Spanish luxury car brand. Named in honor of Carmen Mateu, nephew of the founder of Hispano Suiza, the new model expresses a classic-inspired design and a new-generation technology.

Designed, developed and built in Barcelona, Carmen presents a super-rigid monocoque frame in carbon fiber, handcrafted. If the new model is inspired by the Dubonnet Xeni, which is one of the elegant and luxurious cars made in 1938 by Hispano Suiza, the design and manufacture of Carmen and its tailor-made electric drive will be entrusted to QEV Technologies, a company’s partner.
