Michele Leonello is the new head of DO:IT global design, the Austrian company for ideation, development and prototyping also in the fields of Industrial design and Transportation design. His new role puts him in charge of the DO:IT Advanced Design Team, as well as he will be supporting the company with his design approach and guidance representing the typical Italian style and culture.
Leonello is living Italian Design; based in Milan, the 38 years old car designer and former member of Alfa Romeo’s Centro Stile in Arese, worked on multiple design teams developing a variety of the most famous models of the Alfa Romeo and Maserati product range. Next to that, Leonello has worked for some of the biggest competitive teams participating in the 24h of Le Mans, Ferrari Challenge, Porsche Cup, and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo (Europe, Asia and America seasons). Since 2008, he teaches at SPD Milan, mentoring international student teams in the University’s Masters course in Transportation and Car Design.
