Eysing presents the world premiere of the PF40, an electric moped designed by Pininfarina, at Masters Expo 2022, in Amsterdam until 12 December. The two companies recently signed a collaboration to develop electric mopeds that celebrate the tradition of the iconic Eysing while designing products for the future. Defined by a sleek silhouette, the styling of the PF40 design by Pininfarina recalls the motorbikes of the 1930s and, at the same time, features innovative elements that project it into the future, creating a balanced mix that gives the vehicle a retro-futuristic touch. The retro look characterises the structure and certain components of the moped such as the analogue speedometer and the vintage version headlight, which directly evoke the character of the legendary Eysink.

The frame and structure of the PF40 have been entirely redesigned by Pininfarina designers, improving the riding experience. The engine has been moved to the lower part of the moped while a transparent tank has been positioned near the seat to act as a container and allow a glimpse of the contents. The styling is also marked by the spoked wheels made of polished aluminium and the front fork suspension, defined by a slim line. In terms of performance, the PF40 is an electric moped equipped with a powerful battery that guarantees a range of up to 80 kilometres. PF40 will be available in different colours and paint types and the first models will be delivered in 2024.
