Tobias Suehlmann has been appointed as Bentley’s new head of design. In office from 1 February 2023, Suehlmann succeeds Andreas Mindt, who moves to the position of Head of Volkswagen Design.

Suehlmann has been tasked with defining the design language of the electric Bentleys of the future. Prior to his promotion, the designer was responsible for the exterior design of the British luxury brand. Tobias Suehlmann has a 20-year career in automotive design: he held senior positions at McLaren, Aston Martin, Bugatti and the Volkswagen Design Centre in Potsdam in 2005, before moving to Volkswagen Design in Wolfsburg in 2007.
