Athletic elegance
“The Genesis X can be described as the ultimate vision of ‘athletic elegance’, the Genesis design language”, says SangYup Lee, Head of Genesis Global Design Center. “The distinctive ‘two lines’ theme that gives rise to the body and the sustainable luxury represented by this concept will be the blueprint for the design of our future models, as well as state-of-the-art technologies”, he continues.

Strong and distinctive identity
The image of the Genesis X is sophisticated and neat, with its long bonnet, pulled-back cabin and short rear end displaying typical GT proportions, while the presence of the two lines – roofline and beltline – that define its architecture gives it an unmistakable identity, visually strong and distinctive.

Horseshoe rear
The “Crest Grille”, the shield-shaped front grille embellished with a three-dimensional G-Matrix pattern, dominates the front of the car, while the rear, with its typical horseshoe shape, is characterised by the strength of the bumper, the presence of the spoiler and the special lighting system that echoes the design of the front headlights.

Minimalist luxury
Inside, there is a sense of minimalist luxury, with the interior marked by a distinctive two-tone option that enhances the design, where scotch brown for the driver’s area contrasts with the relaxing ocean wave green blue tone reserved for the passenger seats.

Sporting vocation
The floating centre console is driver-oriented and packs all the physical controls and driving mode settings into the ‘Crystal Sphere’, the only management feature along with the curved screens. The presence of four-point belts on the wraparound seats with their exposed metal frames reflects the car’s sporty vocation, combined with the refined elegance of the interior. “The use of upcycled materials lends a unique character to the Genesis X’s interior”, adds SangYup Lee.
