Mitsubishi has unveiled the first image of the next-generation Asx compact SUV that will arrive in spring 2023. The model will share the CMF-B platform with Renault Captur, Clio and Dacia Jogger and will be built in Spain at Renault’s Valladollid plant. “Mitsubishi Motors has a rich heritage of SUVs, an architecture that continues to grow in popularity in Europe. With the next generation Asx, we are ready to enrich this heritage,” commented Frank Krol, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Europe.

According to the Japanese manufacturer, the new Asx will compete in the heart of the popular small SUV market, and will offer a completely renewed design by Mitsubishi’s Japanese style center and a complete package of the latest technologies including a range of full hybrid and plug-in powertrains.
