Jozef Kabaň has been appointed Vice President of Saic Design and will work at the headquarters of the Chinese group. The former Volkswagen design chief will report directly to Shao Jingfeng, Saic Global Design Director. The group operates the Anting Global Design Centre in Shanghai and style centres in London and Tokyo, which boast a global team of more than 300 creatives.

Jozef Kabaň graduated from the Royal College of Art in London in 1997 before joining the Volkswagen Group in Germany. At only 25 years old, Kabaň was responsible for the design of the Bugatti Veyron supercar. During his career, he has held senior positions at world-class brands such as Audi, Skoda, BMW, Rolls-Royce and Volkswagen.
