Smart presents Concept #5, the largest electric crossover and Smart ever made, at the Beijing Motor Show. The production version of the model will arrive in Europe in 2025, but for the concept that anticipates it, the designers led by Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer of Mercedes-Benz, have let their imaginations run wild, especially in terms of equipment.

If the lines echo those of Smart’s new stylistic direction inaugurated by the #1, the intentions of Concept #5 hark back to the world of off-road. A vocation demonstrated, among other elements, by the tyres fitted with a winch and aluminium guards. The lighting animations, which accentuate its unique character, offer a playful yet sophisticated touch, infusing the vehicle with a lively personality.

The Smart Concept #5 is characterised by ample interior space that translates into comfort and well-being for all passengers. It also offers state-of-the-art high-tech solutions for an extremely pleasant on-board experience, thanks to as many as three screens on the dashboard: one for instrumentation, one in the middle and one for passenger entertainment. The proportions are typical of an electric car: long wheelbase for plenty of space on board and short overhangs.
