Dongfeng has inaugurated its new Styling Design Center in Munich, Germany. The opening of this styling center marks a further step in the implementation of Dongfeng’s “Three Countries, Six Locations” strategy, which envisages six facilities in Asia and Europe, with the Wuhan Global Design Center serving as the hub of the global network, while Shanghai Zero One focuses on young people and responding to the changing aesthetic preferences of Generation Z, and the Styling Design Center in Munich is tasked with providing international creative support for all the group’s brands (Dongfeng, Voyah, and M-Hero). According to the statement, Dongfeng will use this center to integrate its overall design resources and blend Eastern and Western aesthetics, launching more competitive products globally and offering a better user experience as part of the brand’s internationalization journey.
At the inauguration of the new headquarters, You Zheng, Vice President of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, said that the new German design center will have three main missions: to build a global design collaboration network spanning three countries and six locations; to build a bridge for the integration of Chinese and German design cultures; and to become the design engine for Dongfeng’s deep global expansion.
