“Sensual Purity – Gorden Wagener on Design” is the book appeared on December 7th, last, published by Condé Nast International, London, one of the leading publishing groups for lifestyle topics. It encapsulates modern luxury in book form. From the very first page, it immerses the reader in the all-embracing world of Daimler design, with a special focus on the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Through the eyes of Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer Daimler AG, the book takes an unprecedentedly in-depth look behind the scenes at the Design Studios and provides a comprehensive insight into the designers’ creative work. This journey of discovery is uniquely visualised by the magnificent imagery of renowned British photographer Jonathan Glynn-Smith.

A special highlight of the book is the “Mercedes-Benz Future World”. This shows how the designers’ dreams of a future world take shape as fascinatingly bold yet realistic visions.
