Carlo Bonzanigo leaves Pininfarina’s design direction for personal reasons. As of today, Guglielmo Cartia will be responsible for the Design Business Unit on an interim basis. Bonzanigo has served as Design Vice President since January 2017. A notable number of projects have been carried out under his tenure. Among them, a whole range for the Hong Kong-based brad Hybrid Kinetic, the Karma GT and some works for the Vietnamese company Vinfast. He and his team have also closely work together with Automobili Pininfarina in designing the Battista, unveiled in Geneva this year.

In 2004, he joined the PSA Group working for the Citroën brand, holding various positions of responsibility including, for several years, that of head of Concept Cars and Advanced Design. From 2008 to 2012 he was “Maître Expert Design” of the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group, delegated to represent the Group’s “Design Expertise” at international congresses and committees. Among the projects carried out under his leadership are the Citroen DS Hypnos, Citroën DS Revolte, Citroën Tubik, and DS Numéro 9 concept cars; among the production cars, the Citroën C3 Picasso, C4 AirCross and C1.
