Automobili Pininfarina, a Mahindra Group company, is ready to unveil at the Geneva Motor Show the Battista 90° Anniversario, a special version of the Battista electric hypercar (presented last year at the Swiss event, cover story on Auto&Design no. 235). Handcrafted in just five examples at the Cambiano plant of Pininfarina Spa, the car will have a special livery with colours that recall some historical models of the Turin coachbuilder.

According to Automobili Pininfarina, the Anniversary is the maximum expression of the Battista hypercar, with greater dynamic qualities thanks to a special aerodynamic package and a unique livery, inspired by the cultural heritage, which blends Pininfarina’s styling with a new series of styling elements created by the Automobili Pininfarina design team, whose manager is Luca Borgogno. In the meantime, the preparation of the production version of the Battista continues: the manufacturer has declared that the 1,900-horsepower prototypes are under the lens of driver Nick Heidfeld and that the path of development and road-going is proceeding smoothly.
