Volkswagen unveils the first sketch of the new Tiguan. The rendering shown by the German manufacturer reveals how the new Tiguan has lost the square shapes that characterized especially the second generation. The headlights are incorporated into the front grille, a feature seen on the T-Roc crossover, while the profile is crossed by a clear line that goes all the way to the rear. The bumper is new with more pronounced air intakes.

The car is currently the German manufacturer’s best-selling model, with more than six million units produced since its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007. The second generation arrived in 2016 and the restyling, whose main novelties are the new design and plug-in hybrid engines, will be presented by the end of this year.
