“The Portofino is a Ferrari with two souls”. Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari design manager, illustrates the design of the Portofino in a video published on the “Cavallino” YouTube channel: “The first soul is that of a real Gran Turismo, the second is that of a convertible. Thanks to its retractable roof, it can be transformed into an open-air car in just a few seconds. The rest is done by the long bonnet, to house the 8-cylinder 3.9 engine with 612 hp, and the cabin that seems to rest on the rear wheels, creating a unique and fascinating, sporty and elegant silhouette”.
