The Activesphere is – after Skysphere, Grandsphere and Urbansphere – Audi’s fourth concept car belonging to the ‘sphere’ family. The prototype anticipates a production electric model with coupe-like architecture that will arrive in 2023 and utilises the PPE platform reserved for the brand’s zero-emission models. Like its cousins, the Activesphere can also count on electric quattro all-wheel drive and Level 4 autonomous driving: features that allow plenty of styling freedom from the Audi design team led by Marc Licthe. At the Monterey Car Week 2022 in California, the four-ring manufacturer showed the public, for the first time brought together, the three well-known prototypes of the sphere series.
