Lamborghini has released the first images of the Huracán Sterrato, the sports car transformed into a hyper crossover by the Lamborghini design team led by Mitja Borkert. According to the manufacturer, the Sterrato will be the brand’s first sports car designed to offer maximum driving pleasure even when the asphalt ends. The official debut of the high-wheeled super sports car has been scheduled for 30 November at Art Basel in Miami, an exclusive event that will host a Lamborghini premiere for the first time.

The production model has taken shape and dynamism from the concept car of the same name unveiled in 2019, while the production version of the Huracán Sterrato has been previewed in a teaser video showing the car in action in different contexts and settings. The exterior of the Sterrato clearly recalls its off-road characteristics, combined with its typical super sports car character. On the 2019 concept car, ground clearance has been increased by 47 mm, the angle of attack improved by 1 per cent and the exit angle by 6.5 per cent. The track width was increased by 30 mm for both axles, which in turn were fitted with 20-inch wheels with tyres with increased shoulders inside large wheel arches with integrated air intakes, all of which contributed to the model’s impressiveness.
