Porsche has unveiled the first images of the interior of the new Panamera that reveal a completely new layout. The new generation Panamera will feature the driver-focused Porsche Driver Experience control system, first introduced on the Taycan. This system includes a fully digital display, a wide range of customisation options and highly intuitive functions. One of the key features of this system is the positioning of driver-relevant control elements close to the steering wheel. Therefore, the driver can access all primary functions quickly and intuitively. This makes the handling of the new Panamera easier in all driving situations, particularly during dynamic driving.

The focus on the driver’s axis is evident in numerous details. For example, Porsche places the toggle switch for navigating through the options on the instrument cluster and the mode switch for selecting driving programmes directly on the steering wheel. Right next to it is the gearstick lever. This choice frees up space on the centre console, where an elegant climate control panel has been installed, combining tactile surfaces and physical switches to create a solution that is as intuitive as it is elegant. The centre console features new air vents that are completely free of fins and electrically adjustable. Different pre-configured and customised climate control modes can be selected at the touch of a button. In addition, the storage compartment in the centre console is more spacious than before. The driver’s axis is emphasised by the digital, free-standing instrument cluster. The free-standing 12.6-inch screen stands out with its curved design.
