Pagani celebrates 25 years of activity. A quarter of a century of dream cars that is celebrated in a “sacred place” of the four-wheeled world such as the National Car Museum in Turin. It is at MAUTO that the House founded and led by Horacio Pagani has just inaugurated the exhibition “25 years of Heart, Hands and Passion”, which will remain open until January 14, 2024.

The exhibition traces the history of the brand from San Cesario sul Panaro, an Italian village of 6,000 souls in the heart of the Motor Valley, through films, photographs, drawings, documents and various artifacts as well as, of course, the three models produced over the years: the 1999 Zonda, the 2011 Huayra and the latest Utopia, presented in 2022. Looking at the three hypercars on display, one discovers a well-defined style, made up of clean lines, unmistakable shapes, with a very forward cockpit and a wide rear to make room for the engine, as well as obsessive attention to detail. “When I talk to the guys at the style centre,” Horacio Pagani confides, “I ask for two things. The first is that you draw something original.

Maybe even ugly, but with personality. The second is to focus on the details. It takes us 6 to 7 years to design a car. Half of that time goes in search of aesthetic solutions that allow us to express the personality of our cars in the best possible way. It has to shine through in every element inside and outside the cabin.” Looking at the specimens on display at MAUTO, one realizes how much these words reflect reality. The exhibition dedicated to Pagani’s 25th anniversary can be visited during the opening hours of MAUTO, on Mondays from 10.00 to 14.00 and from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 19.00. The full ticket costs 15 euros, the reduced 12 euros, with promotions available on the museum’s website.
