Creative use of space and reinterpretation of styling canons. Mini presents the new Aceman, the first crossover model for the 100% electric small premium car segment, at the Beijing Salon. The car combines compact exterior dimensions with the maximum possible space inside. The result is a contemporary interpretation of the classic vision of the inventor of the first Mini, Sir Alec Issigonis: optimised use of space with a minimal footprint, combined with a modern driving concept.

With its distinctive front end and athletic stance, the new crossover model is characterised by its agility and strong road presence. With a length of 4.07 metres, a width of 1.75 metres and a height of 1.50 metres, the Aceman is positioned between the Mini Cooper and the Countryman. ‘Aceman is a strong model with a youthful personality within the new Mini family. It has an independent design language, is compact and gives an impression of agility. With its distinctive expression, it is the perfect everyday companion,’ said Oliver Heilmer, head of Mini design.

Mini’s ‘Charismatic Simplicity’ design concept is expressed most clearly in the interior. Essential yet innovative, the model has a new central OLed display, while the interior incorporates several key design elements of the classic Mini. Large interior compartments, comfortable dimensions and legroom give the cabin an open, generously proportioned feel, while the panoramic glass roof enhances this effect by providing light from above.
