At the presentation of the Renault Group’s futuREady strategic plan, the French brand unveiled its growth strategy for 2030 and presented two concept cars, the Bridger Concept and the R-Space Lab. The Bridger Concept show car embodies the continuation of Renault’s international offensive. This SUV, less than 4 meters long, aims to become a new benchmark in urban mobility, winning over new customers in the B segment. It boasts bold proportions, sometimes even surprising for its category. Its robust and incisive character is particularly evident in its remarkable ground clearance of 200 mm. Firmly planted on 18″ wheels, the Bridger Concept has an imposing presence and boasts the style of an urban crossover.

The very square front end appears sculpted. The deliberately minimalist treatment of the volumes gives it personality, attention to detail, and a certain elegance. The taut, precise lines extend to the front, reaching the headlights, which stretch across both sides of the grille. At the rear, the spare wheel attached to the tailgate accentuates the adventurous look and demonstrates the Bridger Concept’s desire to leave the urban environment behind and venture into other territories. The wheel arches, the full Renault logo on the grille and the Beige Dune Satin body color offset the car’s massive appearance, adding touches of lightness and refinement.

The R-Space Lab aims to be a showcase for innovation, redefining the experience of living in a car: modular, bright interiors, suitable for all everyday situations, where technology and space are intuitively reconfigured according to use. While not heralding a production model, the R-Space Lab clearly illustrates the spirit and DNA of the brand. The driver’s seat reinterprets Renault’s DNA with a human-centered approach, where technology only intervenes when it brings real value. The curved openR panorama display extends across the entire width of the dashboard, displaying speed, ADAS, and multimedia data with optimal readability. The main functions can be operated just as easily via smartphone and the central touchscreen. The compact steering wheel increases visibility and improves driving comfort, thanks in particular to the electronic steering system (steer-by-wire).

Measuring 4.5 meters long and 1.5 meters high, the Renault R-Space Lab combines a fluid profile with generous interior space, thanks to its minivan architecture. The advanced openR panorama display frees up space in the front. On the passenger side, the front and curtain airbags are integrated into the seat, freeing up the dashboard and allowing for the addition of an ingenious multifunction storage compartment that can be used as a tablet holder, to store a bag, or opened up to provide more space to stretch your legs and rest. The passenger seat can also slide back to the second row to facilitate interaction with rear seat passengers or a child in a child seat.
