The Fiat Tipo range is enriched with a new model variant. The Tipo Cross is now available on the market, a raised version with a more dynamic look than the compact Turin model. Overall, the structure of the Tipo Cross is decidedly stronger and more aggressive than the hatchback and station wagon versions. The car appears wider, with the new grille design extending all the way under the headlights and, of course, taller. In fact, the trim of the Tipo Cross has grown by almost 4 centimetres, thanks to a new suspension calibration and the introduction of a rim-tyre solution already seen on another crossover in the Fiat range, the 500X.

Aesthetically new, therefore, the car stands out for the “cross” inserts, starting with the tail on the entire side and front, where there is also a skid plate and a specific bumper with a prominent bull-bar that gives the model a more solid and muscular look, passing through the miniskirts, the rear extractor and the practical roof bars hitherto present only on the SW version.

Among the main novelties of the Tipo Cross is the brand new 7-inch digital instrument cluster, fully customisable, which replaces the traditional analogue instrument cluster. It is an extremely more technological and sophisticated system, which allows the status of the car, the multimedia part and the telephone to be monitored. In addition, the cluster is combined with the UConnect 5 radio with 10.25 inch touch screen, also like the cluster, adopted for the first time in the Fiat Chrysler Group by the New 500 and now also available on the Tipo.
