David Durand is the new head of design at Dacia. According to a company spokesman, the French designer will be in charge of the manufacturer’s styling on an interim basis and will replace Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos in the Renault group’s design team made up of Gilles Vidal for Renault, Anthony Villain for Alpine and Patrick Lecharpy for Mobilize. Durand will directly report to Laurens van den Acker, Executive Vice President Renault Group Design and from 2019 member of the board of directors.
