Following the launch of the trailer during the Lancia Design Day, held on 28 November, the full version of the first episode of the short film entitled ‘Nuovo Rinascimento Lancia. The future in our roots’ with Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia, and Jean-Pierre Ploué, head of Lancia design and Chief Design Officer of the Stellantis group. The three-part web series tells the behind-the-scenes story of the brand’s new era, through a narrator’s voice, that of Luca Napolitano. The docufilm features Lancia designers, from the head Jean Pierre Ploué to members of his team, who have contributed to the creation of a new logo, a new design language and the creation of a three-dimensional poster, the Lancia Pu+Ra Zero, which summarises the styling elements that will inspire the creation of Lancia’s three cars of the future. The second episode of the web series will be presented at Milan Design Week in April 2023, during which Lancia is expected to unveil a concept car that will anticipate the lines of the new Ypsilon, to be followed by the final episode in 2024 with the official arrival of the production version.
