Fiat is participating in Milan Design Week 2026 with CIAO FUTURO!, a dedicated space showcasing the brand’s vision for the future of urban mobility as a socially relevant, culturally driven, and design-oriented experience. The event features three leading figures from the automotive world: Olivier François, CEO of Fiat and Global CMO of Stellantis; François Leboine, Head of Design at Fiat; and Giorgetto Giugiaro, Chairman of GFG Style, alongside the students behind the three finalist projects from IED Turin and ISIA Rome. Within CIAO FUTURO!, Fiat presents three finalist design projects for small cars developed by students from IED and ISIA, representing a concrete bridge between heritage and innovation, rooted in the brand’s values of compactness and unmistakable DNA.

IPPO – Luca Di Tonto and Alessio Vasta

The IPPO concept reimagines the car not merely as a means of transportation, but as a space that adapts to the rhythms of small towns. The project proposes a more human and shared vision of mobility, in which the car becomes an extension of public space, strengthening the sense of community.

LUMO SU MISURA – Elettra Cappugi and Daniel Saviuc

This concept centers on the key idea of flexibility and customization, featuring a modular vehicle that can evolve alongside its user through multiple configurations. The project also introduces a circular economy model, with sustainability as a central element.

FIZZ – Gabriele Menozzi

“The question is: how can a small city car create a temporary social space when it comes to a stop?” Inspired by the ritual of non-alcoholic aperitifs and soft clubbing, FIZZ transforms a stop into a moment of urban respite: lighthearted and shared, where innovation isn’t about moving faster, but about stopping in a better way.

Throughout Design Week, the public will be invited to explore the projects and vote for their favorite, actively participating in a shared conversation about design, creativity, and the future of urban living.
