Opel has unveiled a new interpretation of its ‘Blitz’ logo that will be introduced on production vehicles from 2024. It will continue to be the central element of Opel’s compass and will continue to stand at the centre of the Opel Vizor. The lightning bolt, ‘Blitz’ in German, is closely associated with electricity and is the ideal logo to symbolise Opel’s approach to the electro-mobility era.

“The ‘Blitz’ is the icon of our Bold and Pure philosophy. The new logo is well-defined and confident, intersecting with the pure support ring, giving our iconic emblem a modern and progressive look. It sits proudly in the centre of our compass, which is our key design principle. The Compass is the backbone of the front, rear and interior design elements,” said Opel design chief Mark Adams.
