Hyundai has unveiled images of the new Santa Fe, a large SUV with a design that cuts radically with the previous generation. “It balances urban life and nature life by managing all situations in the best possible way, from family trips to adventures out of town. With an elongated wheelbase, a more spacious interior and a terrace-inspired trunk, the Santa Fe enhances its SUV capabilities to deliver greater versatility and a world-class customer experience,” said SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai Global Design Center.

The square shape and distinctive silhouette come from the elongated wheelbase and tailgate shape. The front creates a feeling of grandeur thanks to the high bonnet, H-lights and muscular wheel arches. The H-shaped design of the lights – which reinterprets the Hyundai logo – is also found in the lower part of the front to connect the look. Seen from the side, the increased wheelbase is flanked by a strong roof profile, sculpted volumes and sharp lines around the wheels, a reduced front overhang and 21-inch wheels, giving the model a robust SUV appearance ready for any adventure.

The refined interiors offer a pleasant surprise at the entrance, with horizontal and vertical lines that recall the exterior and amplify the feeling of spaciousness. The sophistication of the interior is also evident in the numerous high-tech features, including the dual wireless smartphone charger and the Panoramic Curved Display that combines the 12.3-inch digital cluster with the infotainment system screen of the same size, maximizing driving visibility and the elegance of the cabin. The seats and sky in light colours also visually amplify the spaciousness, while soft-touch inserts with a wood-effect pattern and the Nappa leather of the seats with delicate embroidery make the interior even more sophisticated.
