The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé redefines the concept of performance. The electric model is based on the AMG.EA architecture and uses axial-flow motors. “The first fully electric four-door AMG GT Coupé takes AMG DNA to a whole new level. A car that embodies high technology and innovation, it brings performance to life and will set new standards thanks to its radical design approach,” said Bastian Baudy, Chief Design Officer, Mercedes-Benz Group AG.

The body has been completely redesigned. The combination of materials such as aluminum, steel, and carbon-fiber-reinforced composites combines the high rigidity typical of AMG with low weight. The material cross-sections and optimized component geometries create the space needed to accommodate the batteries and the chassis. Characterized by its fastback profile, long, low front hood, sloping windshield, and rear diffuser, the car boldly expresses the ultimate in sportiness. Compared to the previous model, the AMG GT Coupé has been designed with a ground clearance that is 4 cm lower, despite the presence of a battery in the underbody.

A real highlight is the front-end design: the grille, with its vertical slats, is available for the first time with optional lighting and in a concave shape. The illuminated, centrally positioned star and the headlights with daytime running lights create a highly recognizable lighting signature. From above, you can see how the domed roof tapers toward the rear, giving the car a broad, athletic shoulder line. Six circular taillights with a turbine-inspired design and star motifs give the model an unmistakable rear identity, while an additional light strip can be added as an optional feature to further enhance its sporty character.

The interior of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé is designed around the driving experience. The entire control philosophy is geared toward intuitive operation of all driving-related functions. This ensures that the driver’s attention remains exactly where it should be: on the road. The 14-inch monitor is ergonomically angled toward the driver, and a 14-inch display with dedicated content is also available for the front passenger, allowing those in this seat to immerse themselves in the sporty, digital experience as well. The large, round air vents are integrated into the glass surface and zinc-plated, combining the aesthetics of solid metal with a refined high-tech appeal, creating a seamless bridge between the digital and analog worlds.
