Kia has unveiled the first images of the new Niro. The new and second generation of the compact crossover will be unveiled on November 25 at the Seoul Motor Show and follows the “Opposite United” styling philosophy inaugurated by the electric Kia EV6.

From the first images, the clear resemblance of the crossover to the Habaniro concept car, unveiled in 2019 at the New York Auto Show, is apparent. According to the Korean manufacturer, taking inspiration from the natural world that sustainable mobility aims to protect, the new Niro will appeal to the complex needs of sustainability-conscious consumers and offer a design that connects eco-friendliness with fun and driving pleasure.

The design team led by 2019 Karim Habib has completely redesigned the car’s interior, which now follows in layout what was seen on the EV6. The star of the scene is the infotainment module containing two high-resolution displays, one of which is in charge of conveying the instrumentation. Further down we find the area dedicated to climate control for which physical controls have been maintained.
