After five years of career, the BMW X2 completely renews itself, breaking away from the past and aiming for a style deeply different from the first series of the model. The style is entirely new, and now, drawing inspiration from the larger X4 and X6, the X2 transforms into a true SUV-Coupé, abandoning the shapes of a traditional crossover. The main differences, from a design perspective, are concentrated in the rear, where the descending shape of the roof stands out, along with the very inclined rear window, which ends in a spoiler, particularly pronounced on the M35i, the most sporty version available.

Staying in the rear section, the shape of the headlights also evolves, characterized by a 3D form, while in the lower part of the bumper, the model’s sporty nature is expressed through the presence of four large circular exhausts. The front part of the vehicle is also entirely new. Here, the large double kidney grille, typical of BMW’s most recent production, gives way to a hexagonal grille, which, on the more accessorized versions available, is equipped with illuminated trim. There is also a significant leap forward in the interiors, with the dashboard dominated by the presence of a large cluster consisting of two side-by-side screens. The central one serves the function of the infotainment system and is developed on the latest evolution of BMW’s operating system, which is based on the Android platform.

This solution allows compatibility with third-party apps as well. Overall, the interior environment is well-crafted, and the perceived quality level is very high thanks to the careful choice of materials for the upholstery. The sportier M35i variant, furthermore, is equipped with dedicated seats with integrated headrests. It is powered by a 2-liter turbo engine producing 300 hp which, combined with all-wheel drive system, ensures brilliant performance and a highly engaging driving dynamics.
